Liberal Democrat campaigner Anthony Vick helped residents launch a petition today calling on Wokingham Borough Council to provide a pedestrian crossing on Kilnsea Drive, near Hornbeam Drive and the Austen House care home.
Anthony said "Primary school children have to cross Kilnsea Drive everyday on their way to school. It's a busy road, cars drive too fast, and visibility is poor. Often children step in to the road and have to rush across when a vehicle suddenly comes in to view. We'd like a pedestrian crossing to make it safer for the children".
