Update: Goodbye Graffiti

Our anti-graffiti campaign "Goodbye Graffiti" launched earlier this year has been a fantastic success.

We've had a great response from the public and so far, with the help of Wokingham Borough Council, the Earley NAG, Thames Valley Police and the Youth Offenders Service, we've:
  • Logged 33 reports, covering 40 to 50 incidents.
  • Cleaned up half of all the graffiti reported.
  • Whitewashed the subway near Gypsy Lane.
  • Scheduled two more subways to be whitewashed.
And also, we've been working in partnership with the Earley NAG to repair the phone booth at Maiden Place, and with Thames Valley Police to find out who is responsible so we can stop it happening again.

Remember you can help too: if you spot any graffiti let us know on our dedicated graffiti telephone number 0118 3282668 or email: and we'll make a start on having it removed.
