ELD Newsletter. Hawkedon. David Hare.
Earley Liberal Democrats are delighted to announce that David Hare has been chosen as their candidate in Hawkedon ward for the local Council elections on Thursday 3rd May. David is an experienced councillor having served as an Earley Town councillor and Wokingham Borough Councillor in Earley.

David Hare says, “I’m thrilled to be chosen. I can’t wait to join my Lib Dem colleagues at Wokingham Borough Council.

“I look forward to campaigning with colleagues to increase school funding, provide more affordable homes in the borough, increase recycling, and in particular the kerbside collection of
glass, and reduce the council’s ever increasing
dangerous debt. “It will be a privilege to campaign and speak up for the residents of Hawkedon.

“I’ll be the strong voice that makes their views heard at the Council.” Clive Jones, Lib Dem councillor for Earley says, “David will be a valuable asset to the Lib Dem Councillor Group - I look forward to welcoming him to the Council.”
