MP calls for emergency funding support for outdoor education centres after Government advises against overnight residential visits

Cumbrian MP Tim Farron is demanding the Government to provide emergency financial support for outdoor education centres after ministers told schools not to take their pupils on overnight residential visits. Last night the Department for Education issued new guidance on the Government's website stating that they "continue to advise against domestic (UK) overnight educational visits" and that they won't review their advice until next February.
